Hailey + Sam

Hailey and Sam were set up by a mutual friend who suggested they would make the perfect couple. Sam decided he would contact Hailey and did what any modern lover would do, he slid into her DM’s and started a conversation.

After a couple of hiccups including Hailey deciding a weekend away camping was a better option than a beer with Sam, they set up their first date at The Ed.

Sam arrived early, decided a couple of tequila shots were his secret to a successful date and waited for Hailey to arrive. Hailey usually a very punctual person was surprisingly 10 minutes late to their first date, the reason was she needed to stop at Bunnings to buy some moving boxes. Sam later came to respect Hailey’s priorities about an essential bunnings trip and even mentioned them in his vows.

Possibly feeling a bit bad about initially standing up Sam and an emergency stop at bunnings on the way, Hailey buys the first round of beers and they tuck in to a couple of chicken schnitzels. Over the following hours Sam and Hailey chatted about their travels, their mutual love for camping and continued to tip in a few beers in the process.

The conversation turned to vehicles, more importantly 4 wheel drives. Sam quite happily mentioned he drove a 4 by 4. The question that followed could make or break this relationship, a question that was so important to Hailey that she may just walk out if the answer she receives isn’t favourable.

The question- So, do you drive a JEEP? Sam’s answer of course is a resounding NO, he tells of his love for the Landcruiser and the date continues in a positive direction.

We couldn’t have picked a more beautiful day to be by the sea, a place that both Hailey and Sam feel so connected to. They were surrounded by friends and family, some even from the UK and got to share the day with their son also.

Hailey had one photo request and that was champagne with killer heart sunnies. Nailed that brief!
